Cancellations And Returns
The buyer shall inspect the goods immediately upon delivery and/or installation and shall notify Brighton Bike Sheds by email if the goods are damaged or do not comply with any of the contract. Where a claim of defect or damage is made, Brighton Bike Sheds will replace any necessary parts to complete your agreed initial purchase.
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been delivered and/or installed, you must contact Brighton Bike Sheds immediately. You must confirm your cancellation in writing via email. If you cancel via telephone your order will be put on hold until a written cancellation has been received. If the bike shed has been manufactured there will be a cancellation fee dependent on the individual case. If the bike shed has not yet been manufactured but the cancellation is after the ‘cooling off period’ of seven days after ordering, the refund will be subject to a cancellation fee of 5% of the original order. All cancellations within the initial seven days after ordering are subject to a cancellation fee of £45.00.
4. Bespoke sheds are not returnable/refundable.
5. Self-assembly (delivered) orders. You have the right, in addition to your other rights, to receive a refund by informing us by email within 7 working days after the day of delivery of the goods. You will be asked, however, to pay the costs of the delivery, plus removal and return carriage by Brighton Bike Sheds’ pre-approved couriers. Any refund would then be paid when the product has been returned to base. Additionally, the goods must be undamaged, intact and no attempt to install the unit having been made.
When refunds are approved, they will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
